The Idea
This site is based around music and composing in the modern world. Including what inspires musicians to write the pieces they do and why. There are many different styles of music including pop,rock,indie,jazz,soul,r n b and many more. I could probably do a whole page on the different styles of music available to us today!
Music first started out on the radio or as a live performance, it has since evolved onto records, tapes, cd's and now mp3's. However some people still choose to listen to records believing that the quality is much better, they are also more durable than a cd. And can develop in to massive collections and hobbies. With some rare records being worth thousands of pounds.

- CD stands for compact disc, and it has been available on the mass market since 1982
- Music tend to be based on an art form, which incudes rhythm, pitch, mellow and tempo. All these factors are taken into account when composing.
- Music is thought to have been around since the time of the Greek philophers.
- Many composers or music artists use their own accounts of life or what they have been through when composing a piece of music.
- A massive era for music was during the 1960's and 1970's when bands such as The Beatles were major hits around the world.
